“Much better than expected based on the other reviews. The hinges are adequately strong no deformation. Screws worked fine with pre drilled holes. Actually had to grind the screws down as my material was only 1/2" thick. Worked great for small box.”

“I was very nervous about purchasing these based on the first two reviews. However, these were exactly what I had in mind for my tea bag box project. Went to local store picked up the small antique brass finish set. Overall pretty happy with the purchase. The hinges did NOT bend out of shape in use. The screws did NOT shear. Only issue I had was length of screw was too long for my 1/2 thick box. Ground them to length. No issues with the pre drilled holes One criticism I do have, when the box is closed, the hinge slightly pushes the lid forward. Lid sits proud by about 1/48"”

“Hinges are nice, work well, no complaints. The screws included are weak and shear off even with a generous pre-drilled hole. Makes installation a huge pain when you have to dig out broken screws.”
