“I bought this light a few months ago. The concept was great, but the light lumens fell short. It needs a brighter bulb. I returned it without any issues.”

“I bought two of these from Woodcraft and have been very pleased with them. I use one on my drill press and one at my router table. Both have ample light to brighten the work area I need. I see some comments about not working with AAA batteries but I have never attempted to run them on batteries but use the AC transformer to power the lights. I was lucky enough to buy these when Woodcraft had them on sale and I will be watching for another sale to pick up a couple more for my miter saw and band saw.”

“First, I have to give a virtual 5 stars to Woodcraft customer service. They saw my first review of this product and took it upon themselves to send me a replacement. I couldn't be happier with customer service taking the initiative to fix the problem. I doubt you'll ever get that from the likes of Amazon. However, the replacement suffers the same issues as the first: the light simply does not work with batteries. It definitely seems to be a basic design flaw. The batteries don't seat well, and when you get them in, the cover won't close. And even when you force it all together, the light is extremely dim at best and won't light anything. Woodcraft really needs to just dump this product and get a better designed replacement. Don't keep selling junk.”

“I purchased this light years age did last after a year the light stopped working. Total waste of money. So beware maybe I got a lemon. I since through it away. And replaced it with one cheaper which Iâ€™ve had for a few years now”

“Mechanically, this light is fine. the magnet is strong enough, duration of use with batteries is enough; it has been knocked to the floor repeatedly and still functions. I'm just not that impressed with the amount of light produced”

“I purchased this light, set it up with battery, results not enough light to brighten work piece. Then set up the light using the 110 volt electric, same result. My recommendation pay more and get something that works, do not make this purchase it will not provide enough light to provide the desired or required illumination for wood turning. DAL”

“These lights looked OK and I've had good luck with Woodcraft in the past so I ordered 2, The power supply plug will not plug into either one. The construction level is very poor. I haven't even tried the battery option. I will be contacting Woodcraft for a return tomorrow. Disappointing.”
