“I sprung for the expensive heavy brass hinges to go on my high end presentation box I'm building for a client. Wasn't expecting half of the screws to shear off and/or fully strip out. They are so soft and weak. I spent a long time mortising out the hinges, making the fit great, just tonhave to recut both my base and lid, now grain doesnt match, etc. I'm very very disappointed with such junky screws being included with such high quality hinges. Please do yourself the favor and buy different screws if you go with these hinges.”
