“Very nice pen in shape and materials except the click mechanism may or may not need a slight adjustment 'after' you make the pen. What happens is the pen may not retract all the way into the tip. I found you can correct this easily without making the pen barrel longer (which I thought of at first). You need to take your pen disassembly rods and with the right diameter rod inserted instead of a refill; tap the rod gently and it will move the click mechanism up even just a little. Now when you retry with a refill, the click mechanism will retract properly all the way inside the tip. You won't know until the pen is assembled if the click mechanism is positioned correctly. I found almost every Script Click pen I've made needed, this small adjustment. I pass it on here, because I almost was going to send them back. Now as Paul Harvey said, you know the rest of the story.”

“The pen isn't bad but, I had a bad clicker in my first kit. Customer support took care of me. Reason it gets 5 star. I was let down at first by the pen then after customer support took care of it I was relieved. I can't stand wasting money in this case it was not a waste. Thank you woodcraft customer support.”

“I bought 3 of these for custom orders. The first one I assembled and found out that I had sanded a hair too much off of the tube ends. So I make a shim and get it assembled, then I notice the click mechanism works about half the time. I hope the other 2 kits arenâ€™t as bad as this one. I have a $15 blank glued on the tubes. I will update once I get these assembled.”

“This new kit is a gem. Easy to assemble, with elegant lines, it's a new favorite of mine. I would really give it 4 and a half stars, the only subtraction is due to the frail mechanism. It gains back points due to Woodcraft's customer service who sent me a new one to replace the original, which wouldn't lock open.”
