“Bought this bench vise for my 2 1/4" thick bench top. The box states can mount to any surface up to 2 1/2". The screws clamp for mounting opens to just about 2 1/8". That's quite a difference from 2 1/2". Also states the vise has 2 1/2" jaws. In reality they measure only about 1 7/8". The jaws opening is stated as 2" when it is actually about 2 7/8". All in all, Wood River is unreliable. All the company had to do is measure the vise then make the box. That would have saved me from driving back to Woodcraft to return a useless item. I will question anything that Wood River states from now on. I wont be inconvenienced like this again.”
