“I've been using this vice for about a year now. I really like using it--it's rock solid and holds so well. I did line the jaws with cork which prevents marring. The action is very smooth. The only "negative" I can think of is that the quick release lever is a bit hard for my arthritic hands to operate, but at the same time it works well and I prefer this quick release over the quick release on my old Craftsman vice from the 1980's. I am really, really glad I purchased this vice.”

“I received this vise in a few days ago. I had to send one back... 'BLUE' in color. The things I like about this vice is the quality is better. The Dog is metal. The quick release is sturdy and works with ease. It has a wider stance than the blue one. I did add some leather to the inside so not to scar up the wood I'm working on. I will probably get another to have at multiple stations.”
