“I've got a couple of these that I use constantly for projects. The adjustment screw is a little stiff, but a small flatheaded screw driver will adjust it pretty easily. Once adjusted they hold pretty tight. I've been very happy with them and don't have to adjust the tension moving from boards of different thickness.”

“Don’t clamp anything at 90 degrees, hard to open after clamping and just barely clamp 1 1/2” thick materials. Sorry I wasted my money on these!”

“I'm hoping that the one I received is just me not being able to work it, but I'm going to take it into the store tomorrow and have them show me what I might be doing wrong. This appears to be a strong, well made clamp, however my hubby and I both tried to get it to tighten down and actually "clamp" and it's not working. You can just slide it right off. Doesn't hold corners together and the wheel to adjust the clamping pressure is so stiff and tight it's very difficult to use. And on top of that, it has a very small degree of tightening that you can do with it. So, we'll see what they say at the store tomorrow. If it's defective, I'm seriously hoping they have one there that they can exchange it with since it's something that I really need right away. If they don't, I'm going to have to return it and go to Lowe's I guess. Wish me luck!”
