“Expensive, but very good! Decided to splurge for a project because my clamps were too short, so I got some of these. They clamp well, and seem to eliminate some irritating things others do. The clamping head will maintain its position on the bar while you get it into place. To move the head, push the screw handle towards the bar to close, and away from the bar to open. It took me a little while to realize this. Not having the head slipping up and down the bar unless you want it to eliminates a certain amount of irritation. I am all for removing irritation. Of course it saves some time while getting them in place. I like that you can set the clamp down and the square sides will keep it standing up on the table. They are very solidly made.”
