“Actually, a Good buy! While I agree with the negative reviews on the instructions, HOWEVER! Download the updated instructions *in color* from the item's page on the woodcraft website. They are 100% better and you won't be wasting time on the crappy ones in the box. Woodcraft tends to upload better documents on the website, after the original manuals have been shipped. Keeping in mind that they are manufactured elsewhere, and woodcraft does the heavy lifting. After that update, I'm muuuuuucch happier with this purchase. A++”

“The only way to be worse is no instructions what so ever. They spend time making advertisement videos nut not a one on setup. So far I can't get it to work, and likely will never by any Woodriver branded tool again after this fiasco. I bought it in store after a sharpening class, the class at least was worth the time.”

“The Woodriver Dovetail jig is nice alternative to the more expensive dovetail jigs and works very well. However, the instructions were horrible. The instructions for cutting half-blind dovetails, suggests setting the bit at 3/4 inch, or better at 23/32 inches. I tried this several times with slight adjustments and the joints would not fit. I downloaded an article from Woodsmith Magazine which suggested setting the bit at 1/2 inch and that worked. However the joints were still too deep. Woodcraft's instructions directed me to scribe a line at 7/8in on the horizontal piece and align with the template. I found that scribing a line at < 3/4 inch worked just about right. Woodcraft, please check your instructions!”
