“I made the unfortunate mistake, as I am sure many novices do, of purchasing Brand X because it was less expensive… After some not so great experiences with them I decided to try these Wood River 4” and 8” Clamping Squares and WOW what a difference!!.. The Wood River Clamping Squares are Heavy, Sturdy, Accurate, Stable, Strong and Trustworthy… Trustworthy because they stay where you put them and don’t flex or creep out of square… I really like the Ruler Graduations (which I checked against my other scales) as I struggle in some setups getting things where they are Supposed to be - again Novice… The structural ribbing allows for the use of fence clamps to be used in tight areas or if you are short on clamps… I wish I had purchased these Wood River 4” & 8” Clamping Squares first and saved much frustration and ultimately, Money…”
