Nice product. Downside is you need to make some sort of protective cover for the blade. Very sharp. Would be nice if this site allowed pics.

I picked this pizza cutter up on sale at my local Woodcraft store (Ventura CA -- great folks!). I had never put handles/scales on a blade before so it took a couple tries to figure out the method but once I did that it was easy. I just put short handles on both sides of each end; easy to install and work great. We use the cutter frequently and it is a huge improvement over the small wheel-type pizza cutter. I use the box and foam insert to store the blade when not in use; had to punch out the foam around the handles but that was easy. I would recommend this to anybody that is interested in a blade-type pizza cutter.

There was no corrosion as mentioned in a previous review. on the blade I bought. There were a few scratches that might detract from a ‘new’ look. Thee months in the knife drawer and no one will care. But... The rivets are just bad design for all sorts of reasons. Let’s skip the list of grievances and just say that you should throw the rivets away and use pins like you would for a knife. With the rivets: 2 stars for the two hours I wasted dealing with them. Without the rivets: 4 stars. I have plenty of 1/4â€

The rivets included in this are completely useless. The instructions mention using metric drill bit sizes. Seriously, why would a company in Parkersburg, WV advertise using metric brad-point bits. Hard enough to even find a good set brad points, let alone metric. They also mention using "double-sided woodworking tape" lol, but they dont sell any. If you buy this, just add a handle using a quality epoxy, and skip the junk rivets they include with this. ALso, have fun polishing the rust off the blade lol. Glad I got this half off!
