Wish I could post photos....... Email I sent to Leigh, let's see what their customer service is like....I purchased this product from Woodcraft on Jan 1 of this year, order number xxxxxxxxxxxxx. Today, April 27th, was the first time I used it and 2 problems. First problem, When I attached the vacuum adapter to the swivel port, it cracked along the whole length. I had to use super glue to fix it. The second problem was more serious, the ‘Beam Extrusion with Decals Part# 426105’ slid closer to the dovetail fingers while using causing the ‘Vacuum Box Assembly part# 426230’ to jam into a dovetail finger which then caught the straight cutting router bit and it ground away the right hand tab that the guide bushing uses to move the vacuum port. And when the router bit got caught in the plastic, it caused the router to jump which then gouged the aluminum Beam Extrusion piece. Please refer to the photos. And yes, I followed the instructions step by step. I would like Leigh to replace the following parts: 2-1/2" (63.5mm) Vacuum Box Hose Adaptor Part# 426155 Beam Extrusion with Decals Part# 426105 Vacuum Box Assembly Part# 426230

I debated on buying this only because of the mixed reviews it's received. After setting it up...I can honestly tell you I am glad I got it. Setup , while done once, needs to be done accurately with the set screws the first time. They come supplied with locktite on them, and will never need adjusting again..(or at least I cant see why they would) Also, I've read in some reviews that the sliding part binds and causes serious drag. I DID NOT find this to be true. I use a flexible 2 -1/2 hose hanging perfectly vertical and can hardly even tell I'm moving it back and forth while routing. Slides very nicely. No for the most important part...does it get all the dust. Well, honestly, no. (does any tool?) But I'd say it gets at least 95% of it, Huge improvement over nothing at all when making dovetails with the PC jig. I highly recommend this if you are tired of chips flying at you.
