I like the speed, and it is lightweight. Doesn't seem to slow down during sanding. It is designed with a proprietary screw in way to hold the pad on, like an angle grinder, it does not nothave a collet so my existing pads won't work with it, but that's ok.. I find it difficult to turn on and especially trying to turn it off which is disconcerting if I ever got it tangled in something. Odd arrangement, small incised membrane buttons. So, changing sandpaper grits is somewhat awkward, because trying to turn it off quickly doesn't happen. It only seems to work with 2" sandpaper unless I get a 3" screw in pad. Sometimes I just revert to using my angle drill. But it works well in bowl sanding on the lathe and I plan to use it polishing. I use an intermediary velcro pad to preserve the velcro with the one supplied.

Works so much better than the static version. it has a multi-speed option and there is no bogging down at any speed. Lithium battery last long. Funky power on/off, but works very well for me.

I'VE HAD THIS ABOUT TWO WEEKS. MY FIRST IMPRESSION WAS THIS WOULD BE A GAME CHAGER FOR ME. UNFORTUNALY THE BOTTONS ARE SO SMALL AND HARD TOGET IT TO TURN ON AND OFF. It is VERY UPSETTING THAT NOW IT WILL NOT TURN ON. VERY BAD DESIGN
