“Although this is a really nice lathe with the power needed to turn max 14" pieces.. I have had to replace the banjo now 3 times. The threaded holes in banjo strip out very easily. Thread type and cheap metal. Although each time I have had to replace the banjo, under warranty.. Techna Tools sent me a new one. PROBLEM is.. Actually getting a hold of anyone from Technatools! Submit a ticket.. and you will not here anything in anyway from their tech support.. Weeks later, the replacement part arrives. Call them on the phone.. and your on hold for hours! It does not matter what day of the week or time of the call is.. Woodcrafts can not help you at all. After 1 year.. I am now on hold with Technatools because motor has failed. I am on hold now 1 1/2 hours. Really a shame.. I love this lathe.. but with all the issues and no tech. support.. I wish I would have bought a different lathe.”
