“I’m making this kit here in January 25. All is well but the aluminum pins are not normal. They’re 5/16” OD and soft, cuz it’s aluminum. The original set bent during install. So I drilled them back out. What wasn’t available at the store were other pins to “hold” the scales in place. I would have liked a mosaic pin but not available in this size. I wandered to the nearby hobby store and found some solid brass rod, some high carbon rod, and some aluminum tubing and cut pins from those. Just setting a little warning out if you’re looking for something other than the stock pins.”
