“I was using a non static dissipative cyclone with my Metabo cordless belt and random orbit sanders to build basement shelving. After a couple of minutes of use I would get clumps of fine sawdust coating my hands, the tools and nearby shelf surfaces. In addition, everytime I'd approach a grounded surface I would get a sharp static snap of my hand. I changed my separator to this unit and the problems stopped, dust went through the tools and right into the steel collection container it was attached to. The dust that has previously accumulated inside the hose, on the tools, work surfaces and hands went into the bin. Anything left to be trapped by the HEPA filtration on the exhaust. This is well worth the price and it helps your air filtration work better.”
