“I have had the Laguna Lathe Light on my Laguna 15/24 Revo lathe for about a year and I really like it. The light intensity is adjustable, and indeed I usually have it turned only about halfway up. The color is also adjustable; I leave it in the mid range. I like the fact that the light is a linear array, rather than just a spot, so that a greater length of the turning is illuminated. I am thinking about getting a second one to use at my workbench for carving.”

“Installed on 14BX bandsaw. Went with this instead of the spotlight to help with shadow control and it does just that. Shadows are minimized while using. It is easy to move into the right placement and the joints are stiff enough to eliminate drift while the machine is operating...I have knocked my head a couple times getting used to it being there. I like the color temp and intensity control. It mounted on top of the saw fairly easily but 2 screws are tough to reach so using a magnet on top of screw to hold washer in place helped. The 220 adapter was a nice addition but I don't need it. What would have been also nice would have been some cord holders with adhesive. I went with the 3M small hooks to hold the cord in place.”

“I purchase this lathe lamp and enjoyed it while it work. There a plastic weak link that connects the led lamp to the metal arm. Well it broke in half causing it to become nonusable. It took me awhile to get any response from Laguna Tools. I tried to get the replacement part so it could be used again. But Laguna told me while it a "small inconvenience". But they are unable to provide/sell replacement parts. Their only suggestion is purchase a new one at $175.00. While this is a great lamp when it work. Laguna tools does not stand by its products. It was very disappointed to get the type of service from a company I have spend 1000's of $ on their tools. I will not purchase a new Laguna tools to only be given this type of service.”

“Just installed my new LED light. It mounted easily on the headstock bracket with the screws supplied. It also comes with a screw clamp base for other applications. What surprised me was it came with an adapter for the plug so it could be used as 120v or, with the adapter, it can be plugged into the back of the lathe with the 240v. Being able to change the brightness and temperature will be very useful. The light works with the lathe on or off, which is also nice. So far Iâ€™m very pleased. The manufacturing date said 9.2020. Iâ€™d read other reviews where the screws were short or they had to change the plug to 240. Not having to change the plug end is a very nice feature.”
