I’m surprised by the negative reviews because I have had a great experience with this machine. I added a piece of MDF as a spoil board and flattened it with a flattening bit which works great. For the price it’s a great machine to learn on and I have made complex joints that fit together very well.

Other people statements about this not being a precise machine are correct. I've tried doing plaques as a hobby for work and dice holders. I toss about half the work into the scrap bin because it can't make circles, keep height or control the depth of a cut well. Great for an intro but will quickly piss you off and make you see you wasted your money. Customer service was ... eh but they did fix the issue I had with a bug and patch.

Worst purchase I’ve made. Nextwave’s customer service seems good until you purchase the equipment. I realized right when this showed up that it wasn’t quality, and was absolutely right. By the time I set it up I was beyond the return window, and so have tried to make it work. It literally fails at every turn. The cutting isn’t precise, and there are countless issues I’ve encountered with this machine. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if considering a CNC.

This is Garbage. Do not waste your time. I had so many problems with this I ended up taking it in the backyard and destroying it with a sledge hammer. This "pre-assembled" machine is not level or square. You will have to figure that out after you purchase it. Second the one I recieved had a bug in to ready2connect software. After arguing with woodcraft and new wave I finally got them to sent me a patch for the problem that they said didn't exist. Third after finally getting one example to come out acceptable the z axis start moving down when it was told to go up. This is just junk. You have been warning.
