“The tool cuts clean and quick. You have to lift the back of the tool a little higher than is perfectly comfortable to use it, but you can get used to that. However the tool can lose it's cutter since it is held in place only by pressure (similar to a jam chuck). Therefore it is too easy to lose the cutter head if you don't hold the tool perfectly vertical and it gets pulled out somehow. My bottom line is this tool needs a re-design to ensure the cutter stays put with a different method and also the angle of the tool should be re-designed to allow the back of the tool to not have to be held so high to use the tool effectively. I like my EWT tools a lot, but they can/should improve this one. I'd suggest a replaceable short 1" bar that has a permament cutter, that is held to a longer bar by sets screws but you still have a 4" depth of cut.”
