The Jet Red Bullet cyclonic process works amazingly well. I have a table saw, jointer, planer, band saw and router table connects. Only clogs when over loaded or large shavings build up, happens occasionally, with it being clear it is easy to see. Over all an excellent product to alleviate changing out bags and bags on the final stage unit. I use the Rikon with a 24" Wynn filter, but with the Bullet inline with the system, things just go so much better and the neighborhood is happy to pick up the shavings from the results. To me, it's my goto 1st stage separation and works so well I'm considering going to a large can for it. I generally generate about one full 22 gal can a week, more on larger projects and takes about 3 minutes to unhook, dump, re-connect and back to buisness.

Clogs up way to easy if shaving are much larger than sawdust.

Works great! I think folks that are having issues are due to poor sealing on the drum. Since the suction is upstream of the separator and drum, if there's an air leak, it will create a draft from the drum reversed through the separator reducing the efficacy of it. Gotta make sure to have a good seal and then it works great, but that's true of pretty much any separator with the suction on the upstream side

This system works great. Those folks complaining about only getting 50% of the dust and chips probably aren't understanding just how these things work. They don't get all the stuff separated; they get the heaviest/largest of the stuff coming through, and the more stuff comes through at once, the more likely collisions in the air stream will happen, and finer/smaller/lighter stuff will pass through. It's doing the job it's designed to do, hence the still-present need for end-stage filtration. Works great. Just have to understand what it **can** do and set your expectations accordingly.

I put in a 2 hp dust system with a jet cyclonic separator on a 30 gal plastic barrel an i can't say more than wow. It works great i don't think I will ever have to do anything with the bag ,an it's nice to see the wood going through

I’ve been using this separator with a 2 HP Grizzly dust collector for about a month now, attached to a 55 Gallon drum. I would say overall it’s decent. For most of what I do, it does a good job separating chips. I’ve emptied my 55 gallon drum twice in the past month with only about and inch or two of dust in the collector. Not nearly as extreme as the other reviews here. I will say when I am a bit more aggressive with my planing, the big chips clog the Jet separator pretty quickly so I either have to slow my pace or stop to unclog the intake. Annoying but not the end of the world. For the price and the brand, I definitely expected better, but overall I’m satisfied with it for now.

I ran this with a 2HP grizzly dust collector and it was a waste of money. I would say MAYBE 50% of the chips and dust were captured in the drum and the other 50% went to the bag. I’ve since returned it, should’ve stuck with Oneida.

Purchased because it is a Jet product looks nice and seems to be a good idea. Sadly only catched hald of the dust and wood chips. see the video I made and the comparison with the Oneida https://youtu.be/M1z9hIQ9mpA
