“I bought this a couple of years ago and have been fiddling with it ever since. Like another reviewer, I have very limited space in my shop and this form factor is perfect for a wide range of The outfeed portion of the table is misaligned (higher) than the infeed side and when the board exits the cutting head it binds on the outfeed portion of the table and stops. Very dangerous. I just sent it back to Woodcraft to have service look at it. I have a Jet 14" SFX bandsaw and that tool is wonderful. This one is a disaster. Hopefully it can be fixed or replaced under warranty.”

“I realize for the money I could have got a much larger jointer for a few hundred more, but I'm very limited on space in my workshop. Assembly was minor and straight-forward. It cuts SMOOTHLY and easily. The depth adjustment is simple and works very well. I've ran more than 100 bf of various hardwoods through it without rotating the cutters, as it still cuts well. I would highly recommend if you have limited space; otherwise, I would spend a bit more to have a larger table.”

“The outfeed table is wider than the cutter head (in a bad way). Because of how this machine is built you are NOT able to attempt to face joint boards wider than 6 inches. From what I understand, cutting a rabbet similarly to what is shown in this link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vOENDdFIJM) is standard on just about all machines. Not for Jet though. Very disappointed. Already returned the Jet planer that I purchased too.”

“Ordered this jointer from Jet, was super excited as it is my first tool from Jet. Jointer came in and the infeed tables as a huge dent in it. Now I have to wait for Woodcraft customer service to figure out what to do. Woodcraft told me this is the second time TODAY that a customer of theirs called with the same issue on the same jointer from Jet. Apparently Jet told the other customer they donâ€™t have replacement parts yet because itâ€™s too new. Incredibly poor QA/QC and service from Jet. Disappointing.”
