“I wanted to try this twist grip out, as many of you know, you can never have enough clamps. I tried clamping up a multi clamp project and was delighted to see it works as advertised. Slip it into place, and two or three twists later, you're in business I can definitely see how this can help me on some hard to reach projects where I can only get an arm in to straight spot.”

“It is very helpful for tight space where it is difficult to tighten and loosen other clamps. It is not something you will reach for in most situations. Being an occasional use clamp, the downsides are acceptable. The bar and outer components are plastic, so it is a light duty clamp. It is strong enough for the large majority of my needs. To pull it further open, the handle must be screwed all the way to the top. It can't just be pulled down from any position the way other F-clamps can. It does not have the little button that the Bessey gear clamp has to allow you to pull it down. Because of this feature, you will have to unscrew the handle again before it can be moved into place and then tightened. It would be nice if the video would show this--it took me quite a while to figure out how to pull it down. It is definitely less convenient than standard F-clamps, but it is very helpful in tight spaces. The Bessey gear clamp is more convenient, but considerably more expensive.”

“this is a great clamp I love it I got the 18" and I will go with them over any other one I have even if it is to long for what Im doing has great clamping force and is very smooth operation I will be changing up all my clamps to this style except for my bar clamps for really long stuff”

“Finally!! A solid built clamp bar that out of the box required not being used 100 times to break in, and lays perfectly up right, no falling over. Extremely smooth operation and weighted perfect my needs. A game changer for my needs Thank you Woodcraft!!”
