“I have used the K4 for years and it works ok but this is a little easier to use when you have a lot of screws to drill. I do like the fact that all the pieces can be stored right on the device. I mounted it to a piece of plywood to make it sturdier. It would be a little more convenient if the center drill hole was exactly in the center of the measurement markings, but that isn’t a huge problem.”

“Once you get past the looks you find this jig has many shortcomings that the K series jig did not have. First off the plastic housing is flimsy and gets hit by the clamping handle. It takes your concentration to avoid hitting the plastic sides. The clamping handle has a lot of play about a 1/4â€”

“The tool is very well thought out and I like that everything (except the dust port) has a place to be stored in the tool. I had an issue where the dock connectors would not fit in their slot. I believe they are just made slightly too big. I ended up sanding down the diagonal edge of the connectors and it slid into place.”
