“I bought this on a whim because I'm always trying colors on my bowls I turn. I would have given it 5 stars but there isn't a whole lot of instructions on the can. I did buy the small can to try so maybe the bigger can says more? Anyway I was pleased with how it turned out because I was expecting it to be a wax but it resembles paint to me. I applied it on a plain poplar bowl using an acid brush because that's what I had and after wiping/buffing the color made the bowl resemble osage orange which is a good thing because I work with Osage orange and I'll be able to experiment and see if this will help keep it yellow looking and not develop the milk chocolate patina that it usually gets after time. The grain is visible with the one coat I put on.”
