“OK after modifications. I thought it would be handy to have a smaller square when checking ends of boards and for making lines perpendicular to the edge. I realized the protractor seems like a bonus but prevents me from using the inside right angle to check if ends of boards are square. The edges were too rough to use as a straight edge. I cut out the protractor with a hack saw, smoothed and squared the edges with files and sandpaper. I think it will now do what I need.”

“Lined up with a machine square it is not square. Then they say buyer pays return freight to return. Not worth it, going to toss it and chalk it up a loss.”
