“I bought one of the basic saw guides and mounted my Ridgid circular saw. From the start, the plastic strip that attaches to the side of the guide bar would not stick and when I made the first cut, the saw slipped on the saw plate and wandered off the cut line. After some discussion with a Bora rep, they sent me another plastic strip but I cannot secure the saw to the saw plate. Since I'm happy with the saw otherwise, I now use the guide bar without the saw plate. The salesman at Woodcraft warned me that the comparable Kreg saw guide is much better and I wish I'd listened.”
