I purchased one of your 6 inch quick vises and mounted it on a piece of old conveyor belting cut to the vises footprint. I absolutly love it! Many assembly and repair activities require an extra hand, not always available. This vise is universely adaptable to every thing from repairing eye glasses to carving and sculpting wood & granite. Anyone who works alone shoud have this tool at the top of thier wish or next purchase list.

Works just as I had hoped and fills a void in my clamping hardware needs. I mounted this vise to a piece of oak so it can be moved around easily but has a heavy base so it stays in place. So far I love it.

OK, this is one of those tools I was not sure that I would actually use. Well, I have had it several weeks now and I use it very frequently. I mounted it on a strip of plywood that I can clamp to my work bench as needed (the rest of the time it hangs on the pegboard wall. I make a lot of small parts that cannot be worked while holding them in my hand. Previously, I took them to a permanently mounted wood vise. Using this vise works much better and keeps me at my primary work station. Good quality and works smoothly.

Haven't really used it. I tested it and play clamped a carving. I'm glad that I had previously bought the hold down clamps for another tool. Looks like when I'm serious and working on a project it will be fine .

With the clamps it only fastens to the bench on the long side of the vise. It should have the ability to clamp on the short side to make it more versatile. As designed it has limited use.

Worked well. A little tricky to expand and no instructions, but somewhat easy to figure out. Not sure how hard it will clamp down before breaking, but I didn’t need excessive grip and therefore didn’t test it.
