“My wife ordered me one of these kits to make. I did have to buy a 2 3/8 forstner bit to make it and likely won’t use that bit for much else. No instructions in or on box, but I was able to find some online. Personally, I feel the incredibly thin tenons to be a pretty poor design decision. Like they want you to leave a tenon that is 3/8 “ long(makes sense), that’s barely 1/8” thick. Like another user, I ruined a beautiful piece of figured black walnut I had been saving for this. Pretty frustrating experience. Not impressed.”

“I love this kit. I've had several requests to make more of them. I found all of the information I needed right there on the box. A friend of mine suggested that I drill out the inside first, then turn the outside to fit. That worked great! I would like to include a photograph, but couldn't figure out how to do that.”

“With no detailed instructions in or on the box, it becomes a guess as to how to proceed. I did go to the video, but again details were lacking. I ruined a quality piece of wood in my attempt to complete this project. I see the value in the kit and it will make a great gift, but several hours expended with no results, is very disappointing.”
