“Great tool - used it to carve 1,000 comfort birds (cherry wood - 2X2X6 inch - max thickness rating) for use as a therapy tool for VA PTSD counseling. Sturdy construction. Customer service by Rikon was MOST helpful when I had questions. Money well invested!!!!! THANK YOU!! Recommendations - 1. scribe table with centerline to allow cutting thin wood. Irregular shape of the table makes it difficult to cut thin slices of wood (such as model ship deck planking). 2. Scribe indication on tension knob to allow the user an indication of fine adjustment of tension.”
