“The blade quality is pretty good, was sharp out of the box, I’m concerned about the steel quality, noted some rusting from skin oils prior to working scales onto it. It scratches easily so be prepared to tape it during the entire working of scales and sanding. Other than that the sheath is fine, stiff but is expected from new leather. Some oils and it will flex and season up.”

“The Woodcraft listing for the Beavercraft Niightfall knife kit shows the pictures for the Raven, a totally different knife. The instructions are also for the Raven knife. Therefore the drill bits listed for this Nightfall kit are wrong. Other than this once you get the right drill bits the kit is pretty easy to complete and makes a nice knife.”
