I’ve ordered this material several times in the past and this time when I received my order, I was shocked! One piece was purple and the other was Gray.

Al, We sincerely apologize for the inconsistency with the colors in your recent order. We definitely understand how disappointing that can be. Generally with the different Heart Woods, oxygen will enhance the colors. Tech is recommending to give the wood a light sand and set it in the sun, this should bring the color to the surface. Warm regards, Team Woodcraft

As many others have said mostly good wood however one piece out of four was terrible. It was placed in the middle of the stack. Approximately 5 inches of the board was not suitable for use due to tear out or board deformation.
