“The jig is well made and produces accurate results. The only reason that I don’t give it a five is that until you go to use it for the first time you won’t realize that you need to use a bit that’s long enough to account not only for the thickness of your router base plate but also to allow for the thickness of the jig. In my case, my 1/2 inch shank 1/4 inch 1 inch long bit would only allow me a 3/8 inch cut which was somewhat frustrating since I needed to cut a 5/8 inch depth. I realize this is nitpicking but a heads up would’ve been nice. BTW, while the jig works great with the Woodriver clamp guides, other brands will work but no way to know until you try them. Again, the jig is well made, sturdy, and honestly gives better results than anything I’ve made for myself. Highly recommend it.”
