These MAGFITT magnetic connectors are great for quick and easy connections. They make it easy the move dust collection hoses from one area to another easy and can reduce the number hose needed in my workshop.

I have all of my machines fitted with these magnetic connectors. The only time the magnets don't hold well is if they pick up some metal filings that don't allow all them to fit "flat" against the mating connector. They're not cheap, but they do make things a lot more convenient for those of us with limited dust ports on our collectors.

These magnetic couplings are a game changer. I set a few machines up with these to reduce the number of ducts on my system. This has made switching hoses so easy I bought more. The are easy to use and provide a great seal.

I think that this product is a very good idea and I have my entire shop outfitted with these connectors. The main problem is that the magnets are not strong enough to keep them attached while being connected to my planner. I have to reinforce them with clamps while running it or the hose gets blown of in the middle of using the machine. I wish that there was a way to reinforce the connection without having to use small c-clamps to keep them attached.

My magnets connect stay connected. I have one on a floor sweep and another on the end of a 4" hose I use for collecting the fine dust while sanding on my lathe. I see some of the reviews bashing that they fall off but I have not had that experience-could be the way I have my connections oriented without any real weight load on the magnets. I'm very happy with them and wish I'd bought them years ago.

Nice idea, but magnets too weak to hold connection 4” connectors in place. the slightest force, or even contraction of dust collection hose under suction pulls the connection loose.

I'm a small hobbiest and have a shop in my basement. I have a table saw, jointer and planer and it was always a pain moving the dust collection hose from one machine to the next. The low cost is so worth the time savings and general annoyance.
