Work excellent, just as the advertisement says it gets the job done.

I love the quick magnetitic release concept but I will defer to most criticisms in that it is necessary to purchase a rubber adapter to mate to most 2-1/2 inch ports. It bulks the transition from mating two male 2-1/2 inch take offs together.

Not a fan of this entire Magfitt product line. I bought one hose connector for my dust collection hose and four machine connectors to hook up to my various power tools. The connectors have the same outer diameter as the dust ports - they don't fit. You need to use flexible coupling + hose clamps (sold separately) to attach them. Nowhere on the marketing or packaging does it tell you that you need to buy a flexible coupling for each Magfitt connector that you buy. The couplings cost more than the Magfitt connectors!!! Absolute garbage marketing move. I returned all of mine on principle. I'll find another solution for my shop.

I would have bought, but after reading reviews decided not to. If couplers came with it I would have bought

This would be a five star review. Except the catalog and the flyer does not mention you need to buy rubber flex cuff to attach these to the machines. Which more than doubles the cost. It is still a great product. I would have given it five stars if they also mentioned you needed the rubber cuff to use these items.

These things are very convenient if you're using a "Shop Vac" set up for dust collection! BUT... Look CLOSELY at the pictures!! One thing they DON'T tell you is that you will most likely need one of the couplings in the pictures to attach these to your tool! The inside and outside diameters of these are the exact same as the outlet of most tools so you can't just slip them on! You will need to purchase a collar to put everything together. I purchased 8 of these and only one fit a tool without some kind of adapter. This is because that tool had a 4" to 2 1/2" adapter with a 2 1/4" outside diameter. Plan on spending at least an extra $6 - $8 PER TOOL to put these to use! They really should share that with you in the DESCRIPTION of this product!!
