“This olive wood rough cut piece was just what I needed for my crafting of all kinds of spoons. I’ve likely crafted over 50 species of wood into about 125 spoons, ladles, spatulas, tongs, chopsticks, etc. This was exciting and fun activity. Olive wood is dense, hard, and has incredible figure and results in a very polished creation. I would like to obtain a larger amount of olive wood for more creative projects! Will send photos of some unusual creations. Roy Oshita”

“So far, ordered 5 pieces and 2 have major cracks running nearly one third to one half the length and running through the entire thickness. One board was very bowed and as well while all were definately rough cut as described. Might be ok for use as smaller projects like coasters but not for cheeseboard or finer projects and would need to be planed or sanded quite a bit. Great price on sale but dissappointed they would ship out multiple pieces with such significant damage. Also, one order of two pieces only included one olivewood board so maybe they are just having a bad time with this whole product in general.”

However every piece of wood is different and low humidity issues this time of year can create problems. We will take care of you.
