“I saw this set in the catalog last summer with the photo of the different woods and shapes and was intrigued… I purchased the Wood River 4 pce. set so I’d have them if my idea went well but only have used the corner template thus far… The quality of the templates is first rate and shapes are easy to follow… I ended up cutting 6 sets of 4 puzzle pieces to make trivets for my women in the family… I also purchased 1 of the Wood River 2 piece T Track Hold Down Clamps which was my best idea!!… Being a novice it took me a while (1- 1x8x8’ pine board) to get the hang of it but was pleased with the result… I started by making several shallow cuts- Not Great- and finished using 2 cuts through 3/4” material… I made each set of 4 from Walnut, Cherry, Maple and Red Oak.. Prior to cutting shapes I cut in 2” square pockets to glue in tiles… This is a Great set of templates and I highly recommend them…”

“(Using the same bit for all pieces) the puzzle pieces do not interlock so there’s gaps and spaces between each.”

Thank you for your feedback, Robert. I'm sorry to hear that the puzzle pieces didn't interlock as you had hoped. This template is designed for use with 3/8" router bushing and 1/4" straight router bit. If the pieces do not mate, it is usually due using a flush cutting template bit.
