“I've owned several different styles of drill guides over the yrs and they were always less than satisfactory but got the job done when needed. I had been on the lookout for something that might work better for an upcoming project where a drill press would not work. After a lot of research, I purchased this Wood River drill guide. I will have to say that it is a quality made tool. It's fit and function are miles ahead of anything I have used in the past. I had looked at Woodpeckers Auto Angle drill guide but to be honest the Wood River does everything just as well or better in some situations for a third of the cost. I would give the Wood River 5 stars but my only small complaint is they should have had a way to secure the chuck key in the holder that is on the unit. I ended up just getting a rubber chuck key retainer that you use on a power cord and connected it to one of the guide post. If you need a quality drill guide this is what you are looking for in my opinion.”
