“This is my first scroll saw so I have nothing to compare it to. The good folks a Woodcraft set me up with the saw, blades, and foot pedal. I also bought casters as I was going to make my own cart for the scroll saw. After using a few times, I went to Harbor Freight and bought a light with a magnifying glass. Made things much better. I am finding out that the scroll saw is a tool that requires some skill to reach satisfactory results. After using a few hours a day for two weeks I find my results are much much better and am pleased with my progress. About the saw, it performs magnificently, runs very quiet throughout the speed ranges. Changing the blades and adjusting the blade tension is really quite simple and quick. But, this will take practice as it is part of the skill needed to have good scroll saw results. Learning what blades to use and their appropriate speed and tension just takes a little experience to learn correctly. I truly enjoy learning the scroll saw and this saw makes it quite easy.”

“I got this saw for Christmas after my other saw bit the dust. The before Christmas sale was the saw, stand and free shipping. What a deal! I'm just beginning to get used to it. The blade changes and tensioning are easy. The throat depth is great. The stand is solid and the saw is quiet. So far, so good.”
