“I replaced a Jet 10-20 which was a huge hunk of junk. The 18-36 seems to be better made even though it has the same flaky sandpaper clips as the Jet 10-20. Which is why it didn't get 4 stars, I also removed a star because it appears that currently the Pre-Cut 18-36 paper is hard to find so I will need to cut my own paper which is ok but I prefer not to do. The feed table is a huge upgrade from the Jet 10-20 which replacing the feed belt was a huge pain and never tracked correctly causing premature ware of the belt. It also has a ton more power than the Jet 10-20 which would constantly trip the onboard breaker anytime I got over 1/64 sanding. It has great speed control and even on aggressive sanding passes the 18-36 does a great job. I would buy the Jet 18-36 again I just wish Jet would do a better job with their clip system.”
