“Here is the good - The saw is exceptionally well built. Nice oversized cast iron tables. I like the built-in pneumatic casters, the lock button for changing blades, and the digital angle gauge. Here is the bad - I was not able to uncrate and assemble this item for quite some time after I received it. When I finally did get around to this I got the step where I needed to assemble the built-in router lift and fence. This is when I discovered that I didn't actually receive the box with the router lift. As it had been months since the 3 day window post delivery that the manufacturer states as their policy neither Woodcraft nor Powermatic would replace the item for me. Woodcraft told me that I could buy the replacement for $485 plus tax (they were really really gracious to offer to ship it for free!). So its my fault apparently and I am supposed to pay a second time for an item I never received. Extremely disappointed in how this went down. Particularly as the way the saw was palettized and wrapped by Powermatic was not particularly robust. I highly doubt I will ever buy anything from Woodcraft again.”
