“So I know this is sold as turning stock, but I ordered some paduak a few weeks ago that was all beautiful and s4s. First time ordering lumber from woodcraft, but used to buy from them before the local store closed and that was always s4s as well. This maple is pretty rough with a ton of really bad tearout along one end and chipping all along the corners. Going to end up losing a lot of material so probably won't be able to use for intended project, but otherwise it's a nice piece of maple and would be great if I were using for turning or if I only needed half of it.”

“Ordered the 2" x 2" x 36" Hard Maple to be used as table legs. Very disappointed in the quality of surface finish on all four pieces; extremely rough which will require replanning on most sides. Furthermore, there was no apparent attempt to match the darkness of the pieces. Would not recommend this supplier.”
