“I bought a pint of GF Lamp Black Milk Paint, which is a convenient product since it's pre-mixed. However, I found that it doesn't level-out or sand as nicely as the powdered products I've used and like very much. The GF website says that it is "not a true milk paint" but, really, it's not even close. Milk paint ingredients are; natural pigment, casein from milk and lime. The GF product ingredients are water, Acrylic Resin, Glycol Ethers and Tributoxyethyl Phosphate. Why not be honest and say it is acrylic paint with a look similar to that of milk paint?”
