I am new to turning and I have mostly done slim pens and pencils. I was not in love with the "fatter" pens until now! One day we took a road trip (a couple hours) to find our nearest Woodcraft store. I saw a display of the Wall Street II pen and I was really attracted to the look of the pen even though the size of it was bigger than what I normally like. So, I bought one kit to try it out. It was so very easy to put together, I was really shocked by that! Wish I could share a picture, it came out so pretty! The pen has a nice weight to it and it feels balanced in my hand. The ink refill it came with wrote very smooth. I was hooked on this pen kit! The only negative about it is the refill stopped writing after only a few days. I hate that I have to go buy a new refill for it already. I did not knock off a star for that because I could buy a new one for it, but I did expect it to last longer than that. Despite that, I have already bought more Wall Street II kits!! I plan on including an additional refill with them just in case it happens again!

I just turned my first 2 pen blanks today, both for Wall Street II kits. I was kind of nervous jumping straight into it, but after watching a few youtube videos on turning, I took the leap. The assembly was very simple. I was actually able to assemble them by hand, without the use of a press. I have already received several compliments on both pens.
