The adjustable fence doesn't lock, and is a bear to align and tighten, spelling disaster! The plate is warped, abnormally sized, with only four points to attempt to adjust, nightmare! Save your money, buy the Kreg tabletop unit, add a shutoff and the lift, you'll be much happier!

Purchased this sometime ago on special along with a Bosch router from a big box store (don't tell the folks at WoodCraft). It'll get you by for a bit. Table is too small for serious work. Fence is fussy. Dust collection tolerable at best. Router plate is only okay, and the opening will not accept any other plate. Benefit - it will get you thinking about a better router table.

Of all my beginning woodworking tools, none have frustrated or failed to last as much as this router table. The tabletop is so small that you will quickly outgrow it and need a larger platform to work from. The screws in the plate keep backing out from the vibrations of the router. The holes in the table top for the adjustable router fence are poorly designed: The carriage bolts break through the MDF from the bottom. Also, you really don't have much adjusting space. Why even put a door on it? It just gets in the way.... Lastly, it's basically the penny candy in a bacteria infested gum ball machine. Don't waste your money like I did. I was super frustrated in less than a year and am now seriously upgrading.....
