“Fabulous 8" jointer, Helical cutter is awesome, friend brought some walnut over and one board had a screw in it and nicked one of the cutter inserts, just unplugged power, found carbide cutter insert that was nicked, loosened screw and rotted insert 90 degrees and tightened down screw. That was it, no need to remove entire blade and get resharpened. 8" was the idea size jointer because most of the kiln dried hardwood I buy is between 7-1/2 -8"wide. Boards come out smooth like wood was already sanded.”

“I purchased this jointer to replace an older straight blade 8" powermatic I own. I will say that this purchase was worth every penny. My workload has reduced due to the speed and finish that I achieve with this jointer. There are no secondary operations when making a surface perfect for a glue up. Its quiet & accurate. I can rely on the result every time without fail. As far as my purchase goes, Woodcraft was an excellent choice for my purchase. Their staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I was able to purchase online and pick it up a their store an hour later. Hard to find that anymore. Everyone is an online sale with shipping charges & a wait. I will be returning to them the next time I am in the market for a new machine.”
