“Tool is well balanced, and the length gives appropriate leverage for fairly aggressive material removal. As is typical with carbide tools, these cutters don't leave a smooth finish, but I use them just for rough turning to save wear on my high speed steel tools. The shafts are easy to change, so I don't miss having a dedicated handle for each tool. I've owned this set for a couple of years, and my only complaint is that Rikon doesn't stock any of the round replacement carbide cutters. My local Woodcraft store hasn't had any for over a year, so I ordered them from Woodcraft's website, and they have been on backorder for 2 months.”

“Was kind of skeptical about these tools. But i had wanted a tool with interchangeable heads. I tend to use the carbide alot so these actually worked out better than I thought.”
