Woodworkers of the world, rejoice!—With a diameter of 3/4", tenon length of 1/4" and tenon diameter of 3/8", these unfinished wooden spindles are just right for your next project. No more shaky spindles or  squeeeeezing the spindle into a too-small hole!   Spindles, not spindly –  because only the hardiest woodworking materials will do! No wobbly furniture for us crafting snobs;) These 2" unfinished wood spindles are made of solid birch wood, so they ain’t going anywhere too fast! Plus they’re sanded down for easy painting and staining, so you can get started as soon as they arrive.   Spindles here, spindles there... –Use these wood spindles for crafts, woodworking, and furniture-making, whether you’re making a crib, bassinet, or rocking chair. Their small size makes them perfect for miniature and model-making, and you can make some awesome crafts like spindle snowmen and candlesticks with them, too.

They're very solid, but they're inconsistent in size/shape. They look similar lined up. I'm using them for a random project and had to fill in here and there to make them even, because the spindles and candle sticks were all slightly different enough to make it uneven. Here's a picture, as is...I have to paint it, but I secured the spindles w/ a candle holder on each side, creating unique makeshift dowels.

The quality is great, I didn't have enough so I ordered a few more. My only complaint is, they're actually varying sizes. My project didn't come together because the spindles aren't quite the same sizes or widths and didn't set right for how I wanted them. Basically I wasted my money because I have no other use for like 30 3" candlesticks and 15 or so 2" spindles.
