Took me a couple of goes to get the ‘launch’ off the peel right, but I was using enough semolina to start with - now it’s perfect. I’ve also been using my own wood supply to fire it up, so gives my son a good job chopping smaller bits of kindling. Can’t recommend it enough - it’s brilliant. I haven’t tried the gas attachment yet, but that will definitely get some use when the weather turns.”

“Early days, after a bit of a delivery delay. First impressions... totally worth the wait! Build was simple and quick (c. 30 mins coaching my 14 year old to perform the build). First couple of pizzas have been amazing and I suspect we did a p.poor job with making and cooking them. Can't wait to hone skills to produce the kind of pizzas Pizza Express can only dream of making.”
“The pizza oven was easy to set up and use. We found it quick to get it up to temperature, we used seasoned wood kindling and found feeding it little and often kept the temp up and enabled it to increase in temp. We found 450degrees centigrade was a good temp for cooking our pizza.
The glass on the thermometer fell down during the second use but a replacement thermometer was sent out very quickly with no hassle.
The only downside is that the cover provided doesn't reach round the handles on the back or the handle on the door at the front. I don't want to have to take it apart to cover it all the time as that is a waste of time, so annoyingly I'll have to buy another cover to use. I didn't feel the issue was enough to impact the rating for the oven itself but might be worth the designers considering this moving forwards.”
