The standard range of engineers' squares only goes down to 75mm, but we thought a smaller, lighter, high accuracy square that can be carried in a pocket or apron would be a useful thing, so we commissioned a 60mm x 40mm pocket square. It's ideal for checking ground and honed edges, joinery, trial fits and glue ups. The other sizes in this range are useful for woodworking tasks.
K-MET marking and measuring instruments are carefully handmade in small batches to ensure accuracy, reliability, and conformity to German DIN standards.
The invisibly rivetted joints are reinforced with a special industrial bonding agent, this unusual step ensures stability through a wider temperature range than you would get with rivetting alone.
The surface grinding is superb, with all edges nicely eased.
Conforms to DIN875/0 (half the tolerance of BS939 grade B)
