A versatile folding Japanese saw for green wood and living trees with quick and easy one hand opening – just touch the blade tip onto a suitable surface and lightly press. A two-step angle adjustment allows the blade to be securely adjusted in an upward position for improved access while maintaining grip.
Rather than setting the teeth, the entire sawplate has been taper ground, which although slightly more expensive to manufacture leaves a cleaner sawn surface on the tree to promote rapid healing and minimise the chances of infection. The teeth are UHF impulse hardened and the entire blade surface is treated with a special nickel coating that inhibits rust and minimises wood sap build-up, ensuring long-lasting use and smooth cuts every time.
If you’re not planning to use the saw for an extended period, please lightly oil the blade to keep it in optimal condition and store it in a dry place to prevent rust.

To replace the blade:
Loosen the screw while blade is positioned within the handle.
Remove the nut and remove the saw blade.
Place the blade into the grip and attach the nut (the screw can be attached to either the left or right of the grip).
Tension the screw so the saw blade moves smoothly.
